Our History
Trusted craftsmanship from 1860 to today
Bodill Parker has a long and established history in British manufacturing, with roots dating back to 1860. Originally founded by Joseph Bodill, the company grew steadily through the early 20th century, driven by a commitment to quality brassfoundry and skilled workmanship.
During both World Wars, we manufactured brass button cleaning and polishing sticks for military use, supporting the upkeep of service uniforms.
In 1967, the business amalgamated with Trevena & Glover Ltd, establishing operations in Tipton, West Midlands, where we continue to manufacture today. The company later became Bodill Parker Group Limited in the 1980s.
Over the decades, Bodill Parker has adapted to the changing needs of industry while maintaining its focus on precision, reliability and consistency. Our reputation has been built on experience, attention to detail and a strong sense of craft – qualities that continue to define our work today.
